Bouquet Preservation

Our Books are Open for the 2024/2025 Season!
Capture a magical moment in time by preserving the memory of a special bouquet and creating
a sentimental art piece from your wedding, engagement, graduation or any other important
event in your life that you can keep and share the memories forever.

The more colourful your bouquet the better pressing results you will have!

The Process

Secure and Confirm Booking

  1. Enquire below to make sure your special date is available

  2. Once you receive confirmation that your date is available, you have 3 days to confirm and secure your spot by paying the deposit $120 – the remaining amount is due before your beautiful frame is sent out to you

The Process

Send Your Flowers

  1. We are located in Kainga, North Canterbury (Just before Kaiapoi) – Drop offs are available

  2. If you aren’t located in Christchurch then please overnight courier your flowers to us

  3. We will need to receive your flowers no later than 2-3 days after the event – The sooner you can send these to me the better they will look once pressed.

If your final piece is to be shipped an extra $60 will be invoiced to cover this cost

If your flowers arrive & I don't think we can achieve a great result I will discuss this with you - I don't want any disappointment from both sides

The Process

Preservation Process

Once received, we will process every single stem and press accordingly to what each stem requires

Some flowers need to be deconstructed petal by petal for the best result, which can be extremely time-consuming - hence the pricing of your dried floral frame

Please allow 16-24 weeks to press and frame your bouquets

  • The colours and textures of your bouquet may be altered due to the preservation
    process.

    • 2024 will be my first year pressing other people's flowers - Please be patient with me while I navigate this new path
    • Pure white florals tend to turn to an antiqued white, cream or mustard.
    • If your bouquet is purely white - I would prefer not to preserve your bouquet as this would be difficult to achieve a good result
    • Pink florals can fade to a light pink/yellow, or a darker pink or purple
    • Very light pinks may turn grey
    • Red tones can become more pink/purple or dark burgundy
    • Every single flower is unique and takes the pressing process differently and if required we may colour correct
    • If the style you have chosen doesn't best suit your bouquet I will discuss this with you at the time

  • Flowers that DON’T press well

    - Crysthanthemum
    - Lisianthus
    - Stock
    - White Tropical Flowers
    - White and Blush Dahlias
    - Banksia

If you have already had your special occasion & haven't booked in - Please send us an email as we may have space for you!

If we do have a last minute space, a rush fee of $100 will be required on top of your deposit fee (this rush fee does not go towards your final frame fee, this is extra).

Our floral frames will fade over time as they are a natural product – We recommend keeping our floral frames out of direct sunlight to prevent them fading fast and avoid displaying in damp areas.
