Kia Ora!

Hi, I'm Bri – the hands and heart behind Kōwhai Lane

I'm a self-taught floral preservation artist based in beautiful Ōtautahi, New Zealand. By day, I work in the sterile sciences department at a hospital — but my true passion lies in working with flowers and preserving their beauty in a way that lasts

Kōwhai Lane began in 2020, after I moved back to Canterbury from Melbourne for a fresh start. What started as a personal creative outlet has since grown into something incredibly special.

I've been pressing flowers for over five years now, and 2024 marked a meaningful milestone — the first year I began preserving your beautiful wedding bouquets!

Even more special, my mum Nicky has recently joined me in the studio which means we are able to take on more of your beautiful bouquets. Working alongside her has brought us even closer, and we both feel so lucky to be creating meaningful forever frames together

Every bloom we press is handled with care, intention, and a whole lot of heart

Thank you for being here and for supporting our little dream at Kōwhai Lane.
